Fall color around Clayton, GA in 2026

The short answer

In mid-October 2026 the Georgia Forestry Commission expected North Georgia mountain color to peak from the last week of October through the first week of November. Black Rock Mountain, at 3,640 feet, is usually one of the first places to turn, and Georgia State Parks asks leaf-watchers to come on weekdays because parking fills.
